You will be responsible for:
Hiring, training, supervising, and evaluating employees.
Preparing employee work schedules.
Addressing employee disputes, questions, and concerns.
Ensuring all staff adhere to safety standards, company policies, and procedures.
Managing and accounting for all money-handling procedures.
Ordering, recording, and managing inventory.
Ensuring the shop is adequately stocked, clean, and visually appealing.
Motivating employees to reach sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
Handling customer complaints.
You should:
At least 2 years’ experience in a shop manager position in FMCG (Fast-moving consumer goods), candidates with less experience will be considered for the Assistant Shop Manager position
Strong communication skills
Decision maker, problem solver, independent, knows how to prioritize
Skills in managing people and issues related to staff
Enthusiastic, optimistic, self-motivated, reliable, diplomatic and ready for challenge
Able to work in a fast environment and able to handle pressure
Neat personal appearance and high level of personal hygiene
Good command in handling POS & computer
Willing to grow within the company Good command of English. Fluency in Cantonese / Mandarin are a big plus
