Shop Manager

You will be responsible for:

• Hiring, training, supervising, and evaluating employees.
• Preparing employee work schedules.
• Addressing employee disputes, questions, and concerns.
• Ensuring all staff adhere to safety standards, company policies, and procedures.
• Managing and accounting for all money-handling procedures.
• Ordering, recording, and managing inventory.
• Ensuring the shop is adequately stocked, clean, and visually appealing.
• Motivating employees to reach sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
• Handling customer complaints.

You should:

• At least 2 years’ experience in a shop manager position in FMCG (Fast-moving consumer goods), candidates with less experience will be considered for the Assistant Shop Manager position
• Strong communication skills
• Decision maker, problem solver, independent, knows how to prioritize
• Skills in managing people and issues related to staff
• Enthusiastic, optimistic, self-motivated, reliable, diplomatic and ready for challenge
• Able to work in a fast environment and able to handle pressure
• Neat personal appearance and high level of personal hygiene
• Good command in handling POS & computer
• Willing to grow within the company Good command of English. Fluency in Cantonese / Mandarin are a big plus
