What is IR3535®?

“Master Repellent” contains IR3535®, which is an active ingredient for insect repellent, was developed by a German company. IR3535® has been recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to be safe and effective. “Master Repellent” can provide up to 8 hours of protection from mosquitoes and other insects and bugs. It is safe for adults, children, pregnant women, and infants above 6 months.
How does IR3535® work to repel insects?
IR3535® is a naturally occurring amino acid and a derivative of ß-alanine. When insects come into contact with IR3535®, the odor receptors of insects would be severely disturbed to achieve the effect of repelling insects. Appropriate use of IR3535® can also keep insects away from skin and clothes. It only drives insects away, but does not kill insects.
